Evaluation

I lost my voice when creating this, so I recorded my sister reading the evaluation instead.

Foreseen

The first scene is still difficult to hear, but a slight improvement from the first draft. If I get the chance over the next couple of days I will lower the background sound and increase the sound of the speech. Half of the speech in this edition has been re-recorded and replaced with the original audio from the footage (some could not be synched with the lip movements; but these were the ones less difficult to hear the first time). The rest of the changes have been made, including changing the flashback to black and white.

Foreseen - Before Final Changes

This is my short as it stands. There were a few problems with making the following changes, but I am intending on importing the video back in to Premiere Pro or into iMovie so that I can finish it off. I am assuming that the problems were caused because of the amount of space I'd taken up on the computer; and with files deleted, the footage should load more quickly and will allow me to:

- Adapt the sound during the first section of the pub scene
- Crop the outside shot of The Green Dragon so that the car cannot be seen
- Change the colour so that the shots from the chase scene look like they were taken at night

Poster Practise - From Photo

This is my second attempt. Although I tried to make the background blurry, the image was already blurred to begin with. With the characters as part of the poster, to look professional I think they would either need to be clearly in focus or silhouettes. The problem I have found with creating the poster is that I have no experience with photo editing software and I have been learning in the process of creating. Although I don't think this works as a whole, I do like the effect of the moon created with the image on the left; although I think it would be more successful if I were to use another image. Like my previous attempt, I do not think this has enough detail or is done simply or is clearly enough to work as a poster. I will go back to using one image as the two do not work together.
